Originally from Baton Rouge, Lecade, made his name in the music industry in Mississippi from his home in Purvis, just south of Hattiesburg.

While he was a child, Lecade's father played in several "small town country bands" throughout the south, and that has always been his biggest inspiration for taking up music.
