Ella Langley

Ella Langley is just the kind of maverick country music needs. She’s got a rafter-reaching voice, and she’s a straight-shootin’ songwriter who pulls no punches when it comes to life, love, and everything else under the sun. Spiking her unfiltered true stories with unapologetic rock ‘n’ roll grit and unassuming pop appeal, she’s quietly emerged as a phenomenon with hundreds of millions of streams and a rapidly growing fan base. Hailing from Hope Hull, Alabama, she tirelessly gigged in bars and at local festivals before relocating to Nashville in 2019.

She built an audience on social media with a series of singles. Her songs “If You Have To” (2021), “Damn You” (2022), and “Country Boy’s Dream Girl” (2022) have continuously fueled her momentum with tens of millions of streams on each track. Simultaneously, she landed high-profile cuts behind-the-scenes. She co-wrote Elle King’s 2022 single “Out Yonder '' in addition to four more tracks on Come Get Your Wife. As a formidable performer, she quickly started touring with the likes of Jon Pardi, Koe Wetzel, Randy Houser, Cody Johnson, and Jamey Johnson in addition to sharing the stage with Lainey Wilson and Parker McCollum. Meanwhile, Spotify pegged her as a “Hot Country Artist to Watch for 2023” and she made her debut at the Grand Ole Opry in February of that year.

Flexing show-stopping vocals, a razor-sharp pen, and no filter whatsoever, she formally introduced her signature style on her 2023 debut EP, Excuse The Mess [Columbia Records/SAWGOD], in May. The EP clocked over 120 million total streams in less than a year’s time, earning praise from The Tennessean, WhiskeyRiff and more. This momentum further propelled Ella to be named to CMT’s 2024 LISTEN UP Roster and their Next Women of Country Class of 2024, as well as to the Opry NextStage Class of 2024. She was also included on ‘Artists To Watch’ lists from All Country News, The Country Wire, Holler Country and more.

She kicked off 2024 with “Strangers”, her duet with Kameron Marlowe, which impacted Country Radio in May. Soon after that release, Ella received her first CMT Music Awards Nomination for Collaborative Video of the Year for “That’s Why We Fight” feat. Koe Wetzel. She dominated the touring circuit with over 100 shows and tours supporting Riley Green, HARDY, Luke Bryan, Dierks Bentley, and Morgan Wallen, while also weaving in her first ever North American headline tour. This landmark year also included the release of her debut album, hungover, on August 2. Beyond tallying streams in the millions, it incited widespread critical applause. Music Row hailed it as “a fantastic display of the young artist’s boldness and creative assuredness,” and GRAMMY.com christened her “one of country’s most promising new stars.” Billboard also proclaimed it “an album that seems poised to showcase Langley as an intrepid artist with a fully developed perspective and a fine-tuned sound.”

The album includes her massive hit single “you look like you love me” featuring Riley Green, which marked Ella’s Billboard Hot 100 debut (Top 30) and received immediate widespread critical acclaim for its classic sound. The playful duet earned Ella her first No. 1 single on Country radio and made Ella the first and one of only two female artists to lead the Billboard Country Airplay Chart in 2024. The RIAA Platinum-certified hit has gone on to earn a CMA Award, three ACM Awards, and was revered as one of the best songs of 2024 by Billboard, Rolling Stone, Los Angeles Times, Variety, Cosmopolitan, Holler Country and more.

This year, Ella has continued her headlining still hungover tour, which completely sold out in just 24 hours. She is also on the road as direct support on Riley Green’s ‘Damn Country Music’ arena tour, with 8 stadium shows opening on Morgan Wallen’s ‘I’m The Problem’ Tour still to come.

Ella emerged as the breakout star of the 2025 ACM Awards, earning the most nominations of any artist (8), and taking home the most wins (5), including New Female Artist of the Year as well as Single of the Year, Musical Event of the Year and Visual Media of the Year (as artist + director). She has also received a nomination for Favorite Female Country Artist at the 2025 American Music Awards.

Ella still has plenty up her sleeve for 2025 and is no doubt one of country’s most promising new stars.
