A Southern-Psychedelic, funk-rock, blues-fusion, space experience from Starkville, MS.

Complimentary musicianship combined with vintage flair and an ear for complex progressions and time signatures fuels their sound. Influenced by bands from The Meters, Pink Floyd, and The Allman Brothers Band, to folks like Steely Dan, Sea Level, and Primus, they aim to create an immersive performance that engages the listener with a one of a kind aural experience.

The four piece, composed of Vaughan Brenner, Matt Dunaway, Caleb Hutson and Michael McCoy, banded together in 2013 and began honing their sound. With the release of their EP in 2016 and the upcoming release of their first full length album this winter they continue to see success by playing shows and growing their audience across the Southeast.
CBDB is a progressive rock/jam band formed in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, whose stock is rising fast. Fresh off the release of their third album, entitled “The FAME EP”, they are seeing a pattern of snowballing momentum with large, energetic crowds hungry for their unique brand of progressive jam-rock, dubbed Joyfunk. CBDB blends soulful vocals and virtuosic instrumentation with smart, tasteful songwriting resulting in a sound that can be enjoyed by the casual listener and audiophile alike. On stage, they parade tight, ambitious compositions that seamlessly gives way to loose, adventurous improvisation and have quickly become a must-see act..
